Here's some information on which version of the Necomimi you should use - depending on your location.
It has come to our attention that a few websites are selling US Necomimi headsets and shipping them to Europe and around the world. While we understand that it is difficult to wait, it is very important to make sure you are getting the correct Necomimi model for your country! There are TWO Necomimi models (60Hz and 50Hz) which are calibrated to filter out electrical interference.
Without getting too technical, brainwaves are electrical impulses. In order for our technology to read your brainwaves, we have to filter out the electrical noise in the environment. Countries around the world use either 50Hz or 60Hz AC, and Necomimi is calibrated for the two different power grid systems. In the US, it is 60Hz. In Europe and parts of Asia, it is 50Hz. 60Hz models will not work as well in a country (like the UK) that uses 50Hz, and vice versa. If you are buying Necomimi online, make sure you are getting the correct model.
You can recognize the European 50Hz Necomimi by a blue "Europe" label at the bottom of the package.
